Strawberry Jam

I made my own jam!!  And it was so so easy!!  I'll tell you what I did, but from what I understand you can use any fruit.  Aldi had strawberries on sale for 99 cents ; )

1 2/3 cups strawberries (washed, hulled, and crushed one layer at a time)
2/3 cups sugar
2 T instant freezer pectin

Mix the pectin and sugar together.  Add the strawberries and mix for 3 minutes.  Add to jelly jars, leaving 1/2 inch headspace and let set for 30 minutes. Refrigerate or freeze.
