What a gorgeous day! It's a little chilly but really pretty out.
I had really good intentions for this week. I stayed fairly busy over the weekend and really felt well so I decided I'd really get back in the saddle starting Monday. However, apparently I have developed allergies. And I already have problems with my sinuses (long story). So I probably got all of 2 hours of sleep Sunday night. I even got up at 2:30 am to take a shower and try to get some relief. Needless to say, yesterday didn't go quite as planned. Last night was much better. So. Today I feel much better. There's a load of laundry in the dryer, the kids' rooms are clean, the upstairs is vaccumed, the refrigerator is cleaned out and wiped up and I've been to walmart and the library. Sorry for the chronicles of my to do list, but it's been while. I'm pretty proud. Don't be surprised if I twitter about whatever else I might get done today. :-)

Northwest Missouri State University
Just had the best trip down memory lane. My sister is thinking of transferring to my alma mater so my sisters, mom and I took a road trip. We had such a blast. It's been a few years since I've been back on campus and only once in the last 9 years. So much has changed and so much has stayed the same. I have so many memories in that little corner of the state! What a sweet trip on a rainy Saturday. Oh, and we also saw a funnel cloud. :-)

Rainy Day
I'm so glad it's been spring during this portion of my pregnancy. The sunlight and the beautiful weather have really helped to get me going. I'm sure all the time outside with the kids and that extra dose of vitamin D have helped. But, today it's rainy and gloomy with that all day kind of feel and it's making me feel very cozy. I think it's definitely going to be a blanket, book, movie kind of day.

What to Say
Well, I have nothing to post about food, because I'm keeping everything VERY low maintenance right now. :-) Frozen rigatoni, frozen chicken nuggets and frozen tator tots, chicken salad, blt sandwiches. Let's just say I'm not Betty Crocker right now. And to give credit where credit is due, much of the time My Man comes home from work and either prepares the meal or does the clean up. By the time dinner rolls around I'm pretty much done. And the queasy is much, much better. It's the tired and the smells and the tired and the food aversions and the tired. And again, I hate to complain, complain, complain but it's all about choosing the priorities for the day and taking care to not overdue it. For me, but for everyone else too.
I try to keep up with the house the best I can, but also take care to make sure that the kids are getting what they need. And I don't mean food. They need attention from me and I'm afraid we're having to make up a little bit. Being couped up with the weather for so long and my not feeling well combined really showed up in their behavior. But once I got to feeling a little better and they started getting more storytime, playtime, one on one time it was noticeable immediately. It certainly doesn't hurt that the weather has been gorgeous and they have been running around outside. We even got the kiddie pool out yesterday. Things are looking up. I'm very excited about this summer. I'm very excited to enjoy food again. Maryanna will be graduating from preschool soon. :-) We have a zoo trip planned. Now to get my energy back up.

10 weeks
10 weeks today. hoorray :-) 1st doctor's appointment on Friday. We'll get to hear the baby's heartbeat. Can't wait. The queasy isn't so bad. If I don't take care I feel yucky (and sometimes if I do), but not usually queasy. Got the salivating thing though. And apparently I have allergies. :-) Mostly just tired and NOT MOTIVATED. Feels so much like everyone suffers when I'm not on my game. :-( But My Man is amazing. And planning meals appropriately helps. It is also a wonderful thing to be close to family. Despite how big I get (not kidding) I'm really looking forward to this summer. Yes. Everyone, let's eat outside :-) The birds can clean up after us.
