Bread Machine Recipes

So, I may have mentioned that I love, love, love my bread machine.  I use it constantly.  Thought I would post my favorites for all to enjoy.  Makes bread so easy!  And it's so much cheaper than buying dough all the time, which is what I use it for most.

French Bread Dough
1 1/4 cup warm water
1 t salt
1 T sugar
3 1/2 cups flour
2 t yeast

You can place this in the fridge until your ready to use it (in a greased bowl, covered), but allow more time for it to warm and rise.  Otherwise, place on a baking sheet in the desired shape (this is perfect for a breadbowl too) and cover with a light towel.  Let rise for approximately 15-30 minutes, depending on how warm your kitchen is.  Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.   Coat with butter fresh from the oven.

Pizza Crust Dough
1 1/2 + 3 T warm water
2 T oil
2 T sugar
2 T Dry Milk
1 t salt
4 1/2 cups flour
2 t yeast

(bake at 400 for 20 minutes)

Crescent Roll Dough
1 cup warm milk
1/2 cup melted butter
2 eggs
4 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 t salt
2 1/2 t yeast

Divide the dough in half.  Roll each half into a 9" round circle.  Spread some softened butter onto each circle and cut each circle into 8 or 12 pie-shaped wedges, depending on the size of the roll you want.  Starting with the wide end, roll up each wedge.  Place on greased baking pan, cover with a cloth and let stand for about 2 hrs until roll has doubled in size.  Bake at 375 for 12 minutes.

If you're using in a pizza recipe or something don't worry about letting it rise.  Just use it straight out of the machine or refrigerate.  Be sure to remove from the fridge long enough to let it come to room temperature.  You don't want to work with cold dough.
