This was the other winner from Thanksgiving, although not as unanimous. I love cranberry anything so this hit the spot for me - and the jalapeño gave it a nice touch.
2 8 oz blocks of cream cheese, room temp
2 fresh jalopenos, seeds removed and finely diced
2 T red onion, diced
1/2 t garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 lime, juiced
1/4 c finely diced green onions, plus more for garnish
1 14 oz can cranberry sauce
With a handheld mixer whip the cream cheese. Next add the garlic, salt, pepper, juice, jalapeños, and green and red onions. Spread on a serving platter of your choice. Pour the cranberry sauce over the top and spread with a spoon. Garnish with green onions sliced diagonally and serve with crackers.
